An Advertising Agency

Gloria Blint

President and CEO

Gloria is the President and CEO of Red House. With 30 years of experience (give or take), she’s guided brands from inside an agency to client-side and back again. Gloria started as a designer in 1980 before eventually landing in Account Management which all explains her strange belief that marketing should look good, sound good, and most importantly, produce results.

Her roster has included brands such as Welch Foods, Apple, McDonald’s and Humana, Inc. She owns a Wii and plays it, but is more comfortable snowshoeing or riding in the Five Boro Bike Tour through NYC.

Amy Rajakovic

Creative Director

Amy is the Creative Director at Red House. If you know anything about Creative Directors, you’re probably starting to form an opinion about Amy right now (We heard she eats ice cream for breakfast).

Fortunately for Red House and its clients, Amy is more than a colorful creative, she’s a strategic thinker with more than 15 years of experience in concept and design. Which is good, because we do that here.

Oh, and her daughter’s middle name is Keenan, after either Maynard James Keenan or Keenan Ivory Wayans, which ever one ends up having the more successful career.

Karen Lightell

Dir. of Public Relations

Karen is the Director of Public Relations at Red House, which is a title that doesn’t really capture how important Karen really is around here. Truth be told, Karen is a powerhouse. She’s a writer, strategist, deep thinker and master communicator who brings her talents to bear for clients of every shape and size of budget.

Karen spent four years in D.C. cutting her teeth as a communications director for a member of Congress, which explains her constant demand that we drive every where in a limo and fly only on private jets (good luck with that, Karen!).

When she isn’t tackling some of the toughest problems that come knocking (including whether her oldest son is alone with his girlfriend right now), Karen’s traveling the globe to places like Belize, Alaska and Thailand.

Amy Meyers

Media Director

Amy asked our writer to make her bio, ahem…sexy, so here goes.

Amy is the Media Director at Red House where she enjoys long strategic conversations about media placement and intimate lamp lit spreadsheet sessions.

Before she started dating Red House in 2008, she was in a monogamous associate media director relationship with another agency, but they didn’t bring her flowers any more, so she left.

When Amy’s not buying, trading and planning media (or being teased mercilessly in her website bio), she’s simultaneously reading Harry Potter, AdAge and Jane Austen. She also loves to read cookbooks, but she can’t cook. Go figure.

Matt Blint

Director of Strategy

Matt is the Director of Strategy at Red House, which is ironic considering what he wrote on dmnews.com about overzealous strategy at his last agency stint in Los Angeles.

That’s okay with Red House though, because Matt brings a strong direct response and digital approach to brand strategy, which is exactly what our clients have been asking for.

In a past life, Matt worked on the Bank of America, Toyota, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Charles Schwab accounts, while balancing time at home training his German Shepherd, Rusty, and pickling vegetables, not at the same time (well okay, occasionally at the same time).
